Connecting Your AI Assistant
Which AI assistants work with AgentRunCoach?
ChatGPT and Claude. In ChatGPT, AgentRunCoach is a plugin in the Plugins directory. In Claude, you add it as a custom connector using its address.
How do I connect ChatGPT?
In ChatGPT on the web, desktop or mobile app:
- Go to the AgentRunCoach plugin in ChatGPT’s Plugins directory, or in the ChatGPT app, open Plugins and search for AgentRunCoach.
- Select Install plugin and follow the steps to connect.
I added AgentRunCoach to ChatGPT with Create MCP App. Do I need to change it?
No. That connection still works. To switch to the directory plugin, remove the one you created under Installed in Plugins, then install AgentRunCoach from the directory and sign in again. Your training stays in AgentRunCoach.
How do I connect Claude?
In Claude on the web, desktop or mobile app:
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Select + → Add custom connector.
- Name: AgentRunCoach
URL:https://api.agentruncoach.com/mcp - Select Add, then sign in to connect.
Can I connect Strava from the ChatGPT app?
No. Connect Strava from AgentRunCoach Settings when it is available for your account; ChatGPT can then work with the activities AgentRunCoach holds.
Can I use Strava's Claude connector with AgentRunCoach?
Yes, where Strava makes that connector available. It remains separate from AgentRunCoach's own Strava connection, and nothing is saved without confirmation.
Do I need a paid AI assistant subscription?
No. AgentRunCoach billing is separate, and free ChatGPT and Claude plans can connect it. A free Claude plan allows one custom connector.
Can I switch to a different AI assistant later?
Yes. Your plan and training history live in AgentRunCoach, so changing assistants does not move or erase them.
Troubleshooting
My AI assistant isn't responding with my coaching data.
Check that AgentRunCoach is enabled in the conversation, then reconnect it. In ChatGPT, open AgentRunCoach under Installed in Plugins and select Reconnect. In Claude, disconnect and reconnect it in Settings → Connectors.
What does AgentRunCoach send to my assistant?
The assistant requests the account context needed for your coaching conversation. AgentRunCoach does not store the chat transcript.
